How do I see my income tax estimate?¶

myaccountant estimates your income tax for the year from the income and expenses you've recorded, so you can plan ahead.

Step 1. Go to Tax → Income Tax in the sidebar.

Step 2. The table shows your estimate, working from your Accounting Profit down to your Estimated Taxable Income and Estimated Tax Liability, across your businesses, properties and personal income.

Step 3. Use the period, company and property filters to focus on a particular part of your situation.

It's an estimate. This screen is for planning, not for lodging — and the figures update as you record more transactions. Your actual tax is worked out when you lodge your tax return.
