How do I check my GST?¶

You can see your GST position in a few places in myaccountant:

• Inside a BAS — open an activity statement (Tax → Activity Statements) and look at the GST section. It shows G1 (total sales), 1A (the GST you collected) and 1B (the GST you can claim back). The difference is your net GST — what you owe or are owed.
• The Compliance tab — on the Tax page, the Compliance tab has a GST card comparing what you've disclosed against your books, and flags any difference.
• The dashboard — the GST Position card gives you a quick summary of GST collected, GST credits and what's due.

Tip: make sure your bank transactions are categorised so your GST figures are complete — uncategorised transactions aren't counted yet.
