How do I switch to the new pricing?¶

If your paid plan is still on older pricing, its plan card on the Billing page shows a blue banner: "New pricing available — switch now (proration applies)".

Step 1. Go to Settings → Billing and open the business row (click Manage) to see the plan's card. Accountants will see the banner directly on the plan card under the Practice Plan heading.

Step 2. Click Switch to new pricing on the banner.

That's it — your existing subscription is moved to the current price in place:

• Your billing date doesn't change. The switch adjusts your current subscription rather than cancelling and re-creating it.
• Proration applies. The difference between old and new pricing for the remainder of the current billing period is calculated automatically by Stripe.
• Nothing is lost. If your business already has more employees on a Payroll plan than the current plan cap, your existing headcount is kept — the switch never removes access to employees you already pay.

If your plan doesn't show the banner, there's nothing to do — you're already on the latest pricing (free plans never show it, as there's nothing to migrate).
