I've hit my monthly AI extraction limit¶
The banner at the top of the Documents page tracks your monthly AI allowance — it shows how many AI extractions used out of your monthly limit, and the date the counter resets. When you've used them all, the banner adds a red Limit reached badge, and clicking Extract shows "Monthly extraction quota reached. Upgrade your plan or wait for reset."
What still works¶
- Just Save. You can keep uploading documents — choose Just Save in the upload panel and the file is stored without using any of your allowance. It shows as Saved Only, with an Extract button on its row so you can run AI on it after your quota resets.
- Reviewing. Documents that were already extracted (Needs Review) can still be reviewed, corrected and accepted into your books — reviewing doesn't use your allowance.
- Everything else. Viewing, searching and deleting documents, and the Attachments tab, all work as normal. Only new AI extractions are paused.
When does my quota reset?¶
Your allowance resets on the first day of each month — the exact date is shown in the banner. Failed extractions don't count towards your limit.
Getting more extractions¶
Paid plans include a larger monthly allowance. Go to Settings → Billing to compare plans and upgrade — your new allowance applies from your next extraction.
