What is Caia's check of my books?

Each morning, after it has sorted the new lines, Caia checks your books and lists anything that needs attention under Caia's check of your books on the Caia page. The check only reads your books. Caia does not change any figure because of it.

Until the first check has run, the card says Caia hasn't checked your books yet. If the check finds nothing, it says Caia found nothing to fix.

What the findings look like

Each finding has a title, a short explanation, and a button that opens the place to look. Some explanations are written by Caia's AI, and these are labelled Written by Caia (AI).

Examples of the titles you may see:

Finding Where to go
Bank lines are waiting to be sorted Open bank lines
Bank lines need your decision Open bank lines
Bank lines are dated before your books start Review lines before your books start
Some bank lines may be duplicates Open bank lines

The title of a finding can change with the number of items. For example, one expense has no receipt, and several expenses have no receipt.

Accepting a finding

If you have seen a finding and are happy to leave it as it is, select Accept. Accepting records who accepted it and when. It changes nothing in your books. If the count or the amount changes later, the finding opens again for you to accept.

Only some people can accept a finding. If you cannot see the Accept button, ask the business owner or an accountant with access.

Findings that need support

Some entries are missing from your books or don't add up is different from the others. Myaccountant found a problem in the books themselves, and only Myaccountant support can fix it. Select Open support on the finding and contact support from there. Do not try to correct it yourself.
