What do Done, Please review and Needs you mean?

The Caia page sorts Caia's work into three lanes. Each lane shows its totals, with money in and money out kept apart, followed by the groups of lines in that lane.

Done by your rules

Caia is sure of these. It posted them from:

  • one of your own rules,
  • a group you have confirmed,
  • an exact match to an invoice, bill or payment, or
  • a sort you chose yourself.

No review is needed. You can still undo any of them.

Done — please review

Caia has posted these, but it worked them out from evidence you have not confirmed yet. For example:

  • the history of the supplier,
  • the business profile,
  • the default GST treatment, which is GST included,
  • an AI suggestion,
  • a payment that is close to an invoice or bill but not an exact match, or
  • a wage payment that Caia could not match to anything owed.

Look them over, and select Looks right on a group you agree with. Caia does not treat a line as confirmed just because you have not changed it. Only Looks right, or your own correction, confirms it.

Needs you

Caia has not posted these. It has set them aside because it could not rely on the evidence, or because a decision needs your judgement. Each group has one plain sentence saying why. You choose how the lines should be sorted. See How do I answer a Needs you question?

Groups

Each lane shows its groups, biggest amounts first, 15 at a time. Select Show more for the rest. A group shows:

  • the supplier name,
  • the amount in and out,
  • the account and GST treatment, once Caia has them,
  • the number of lines and their dates, and
  • the sentence that says what Caia thinks, or why the group is waiting.

When a change you asked for is still being applied, the group shows Caia is re-posting these.

If a lane is empty, it shows Nothing here yet.

Who can see the lines

You need access to bank accounts to see the lines inside a group. Without that access, you see only the totals. Some people can see the groups but cannot act on them.
