How do I log in?¶

Step 1. Go to the myaccountant Sign in page.

Step 2. Enter your Email and Password, then click Sign in. Alternatively, use the Google or Xero button at the top to sign in with that account.

Step 3. If you don't have two-factor authentication turned on and you're signing in with your password on a device myaccountant doesn't recognise, you'll see a Check Your Email screen. myaccountant emails a 6-digit code to your address (shown partly hidden, like a@example.com) — enter it to finish signing in. Tick *Trust this device for 30 days to skip this check on the same device for a month. Signing in with Google or Xero skips this step.

Step 4. If you have two-factor authentication turned on, you'll instead be asked for a 6-digit code from your authenticator app. Enter it to finish signing in — see How do I set up two-factor authentication?. You can tick Trust this device for 30 days to skip this step on the same device for a month.

If your email and password don't match, you'll see an "Invalid email or password" message. If you've forgotten your password, click Forgot password? — see How do I reset my password?.
