SuperStream¶
Definition. SuperStream is the mandatory standard for sending super payments and the matching contribution data electronically in one format, so funds can allocate the money to the right member accounts.

The ATO requires employers to pay super and send the details electronically in a standard way. Sending the money and the data together in the same format helps super funds match each payment to the right person's account, with fewer errors and delays.
